Online medical weight-loss programs typically charge a monthly clinical fee — commonly $99–$299 — with medication, if prescribed, billed separately by a pharmacy. GetSeenMD membership is $149/month, shown in full before you pay, and you're only charged after a clinician approves your visit.
Clinical care (reviews, check-ins, plan management) and medication are different costs. Any program quoting one blended number is hiding one of them. Membership covers the clinical side; medication, when appropriate, is billed by a licensed pharmacy at its own price.
Most cash-pay telehealth programs run outside insurance — that's what keeps pricing flat and visible. Your pharmacy benefits may still apply to medication, and HSA/FSA funds often apply to clinical fees. Ask — with a posted price, at least you know what you're asking about.
Charges before any clinician reviews you; 'free consultations' that convert to surprise subscriptions; cancellation that requires a retention phone call; and paying even when you're not approved. We built the opposite: approval before billing, cancel online, full refund if you're not approved.
